Benign prostatic hyperplasia 5 mg daily for ≥6 mth.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Hepatic dysfunction & increase in PSA level. Patient w/ large residual urine vol.

Adverse Reactions

Decreased libido, breast tenderness, impotence & hypersensitivity reactions.

Increased theophylline clearance & decrease t_½.
