Adults: The first day started with 1 mg, 2 times a day.
Day two 2 mg, 2 times a day.
Day three 3 mg, 2 times a day.
The optimal dose: 2-4 mg, 2 times a day.
Geriatric: Starting with 0.5 mg twice a day, then increased 1.2 mg twice daily.
Use in children aged <15 years is not recommended.
Use in patients with impaired liver and kidney function: Initial dose of 0.5 mg, 2 times a day. The dose is adjusted individually with an additional 0.5 mg, 2 times a day until they reach 1-2 mg, 2 times a day.
