A clear colorless to slightly yellow brown color solution. Sugammadex is described chemically as 6-Perdeoxy-6-per-(2-carboxyethyl)thio-gamma-Cyclodextrin Sodium salt. The molecular formula is C72H104Na8O48S8 and the molecular weight is 2177.97.
Sugammadex is a white to an off-white powder and samples was hygroscopic and a pKa1 by potentiometry is 7.87 and pKa2 by potentiometry is 5.35. It is freely soluble in water.
Each mL contains: Sugammadex 100 mg (equivalent to Sugammadex sodium 108.8 mg).
