Each film-coated tablet contains: Anastrozole 1 mg.
Pharmacology: Pharmacokinetics: Anastrozole is generally well tolerated and the most frequent adverse effects are gastrointestinal disturbances including anorexia, nausea and vomiting, and diarrhea; hot flushes; dizziness; drowsiness; headache; and rash. Other reported effects including hair thinning, vaginal dryness or bleeding, oedema, myalgia and arthralgia, fever, thrombophlebitis, leucopenia, and flu-like syndrome. Abnormalities in liver enzyme values have occurred in some patients receiving Anastrozole.
Anastrozole is indicated for the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women
Should be used in a dose of 1 mg daily or as directed by the physician.
The use of anastrozole is contraindicated in pre-menopausal women. It is known whether it can be safely given to patients with moderate or severe hepatic impairment, or severe renal impairment
