This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic (hypersensitive) to its active ingredients and components such as starch, opadry red and alcohol. Alcohol may contain allergens like yeasts and products thereof which may cause allergic reactions. It is also contraindicated in patients taking mineral oil, with intestinal obstruction, and acute abdominal pain.
