Indications/Uses
External genital & perianal warts/condyloma acuminata in adults.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply 3 times/wk at bedtime & left on the skin for 6-10 hr for a max of 16 wk.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not for treatment of urethral, intravag, cervical, rectal or intra-anal warts. Occlusive dressing is not recommended during treatment. Not recommended until genital/perianal tissue is healed. Avoid sexual contact while Aldara is on skin. Concurrent use w/ condoms & vag diaphragms. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Wart site: Erythema, erosion, excoriation/flaking, oedema, itching, burning; induration, ulceration, scabbing, vesicle, pain, soreness, burning, irritation, hypopigmentation, itching, rash, sensitivity, soreness, stinging, tenderness. Remote site: Bleeding, burning, itching, pain, tenderness, tinea cruris. Flu symptom, fatigue, fever, fungal infection; headache; diarrhoea; myalgia.
