IM 1 mL/dose. Administer by IM inj into the deltoid muscle, or into the anterolateral region of the thigh in small childn.
Pre-exposure immunization 1 dose on days 0, 7 & 21 (or 28).
Post-exposure immunisation Unimmunised or incompletely immunised individuals 1 single dose on days 0, 3, 7, 14, 28. Alternatively, 2 doses on day 0 (as 1 dose into the right & left deltoid muscle, or in small childn, each into the anterolateral region of the right & left thigh), & 1 dose each on days 7 & 21.
Previously fully immunized individuals 2 doses, 1 on each of days 0 & 3 (independent of interval to last immunization).
Immunocompromised individuals Administer once on days 0, 3, 7, 14, 28. Initial dose (day 0) should be doubled w/ a single dose post-exposure.
Intradermal inj 0.1 mL/dose. Administer in the upper arm over the deltoid.
Non-vaccinated individuals 1 dose over each left & right deltoid on days 0, 3, 7, & 1 dose on upper arm on day 28 (or 30) & day 90. Alternatively, dose for day 90 can be administered as a 2nd dose on day 28 or 30.
Fully vaccinated individuals Immediate booster dose on days 0, 3.
