Compatibility and admixtures: Atracurium besylate is compatible with the following infusion solutions such as 5% dextrose injection, 0.9% Sodium chloride injection, or 5% dextrose and sodium chloride injection. Solutions containing 0.2 or 0.5 mg/ml Atracurium besylate in the previously mentioned diluents should be used within 24 hrs.
Cautions: Atracurium besylate should not be mixed in the same syringe or needle with any alkaline agent, such as barbiturate.
