Should be taken with food: Take immediately before or during breakfast/1st main meal of the day. Do not skip meals. Swallow whole w/ sufficient amount of liqd, do not chew.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to glimepiride, other sulfonylureas or sulfonamides. Severe renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Hypoglycemia; temporary visual impairment; GI symptoms eg, nausea, vomiting, sensation of pressure or fullness in the epigastrium, abdominal pain & diarrhea; changes in blood picture; allergic or pseudoallergic reactions.
