Indications/Uses

Symptomatic treatment of cough in adults & childn >2 yr.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL (60 mg) up to tid w/ at least 6 hr interval. Childn >2 yr 1 mg/kg tid. Total daily dose: 3 mg/kg. Duration of treatment: Not longer than 7 days.

Overdosage

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take between meals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Excessive mucus discharge; limited mucociliary (Kartagener's syndrome, ciliary dyskinesia). Bronchorrhea. Severely limited liver function. Pregnancy & lactation.
