Chalktab Dosage/Direction for Use

In chronic renal failure patients: 1-2 tablets 3 to 4 times daily with meals or as prescribed by the physician. To achieve the maximal phosphate binding effect, it is recommended that intake of CHALKTAB should contain at least 1,000 mg of elemental calcium per day. Serum calcium and phosphate should be monitored periodically.
Antacid: 1-2 tablets (for Chalktab-835 mg) or 1 tablet (for Chalktab-1.25 and Chalktab-1.5) 4 to 6 times daily before meals or as prescribed by the physician.
Hypocalcaemia: 1-2 tablets 2 times daily after meals, or as prescribed by the physician.
