Common side effect is headache. In some patients, Ondansetron may cause constipation and diarrhea. There have been reports of immediate hypersensitivity reactions in patients who have shown
sensitivity to other selective 5HT3-receptor antagonists. The drug should be discontinued, if a hypersensitivity reaction occurs.
