In cases of patients with conscious disturbance by cephalopathy and/or cerebral operation, it is recommended to treat with antihemorrhagics, blood pressure depressant and hypothermia, etc.
Special Precaution: For the acute, severe case of progressive disturbance of consciousness, antihemorrhagics or brain pressure-decreasing agents should be given concomitantly and the body temperature maintained at a low level.
For patients with disturbance of consciousness in acute stage of cerebral infarction, start of citicoline injection is recommended within 2 weeks after apoplectic stroke.
Use in Elderly: Generally, the elderly is decreased in physiological function. Therefore, caution like dose reduction is recommended.
