Special Precaution: For the acute, severe case of progressive disturbance of consciousness, antihemorrhagics or brain pressure-decreasing agents should be given concomitantly and the body temperature maintained at a low level.
For patients with disturbance of consciousness in acute stage of cerebral infarction, start of citicoline injection is recommended within 2 weeks after apoplectic stroke.
Use in Elderly: Generally, the elderly is decreased in physiological function. Therefore, caution like dose reduction is recommended.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Use in Pregnancy: Because the safety in pregnant woman is not established, the drug should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits are considered to outweigh the risks.

Hypersensitivity: Rash may infrequently occur. In such a case, citicoline injection should be discontinued.
Psychoneurologic System: Insomnia may infrequently occur and headache, dizziness, excitation or convulsions may rarely occur. If citicoline injection is used for the treatment of hemiplegia after cerebral apoplexy, numbness of the paralyzed extremities may occasionally occur or become intensified.
