Discontinue if transient hypotension accompanying shock, asphyxia, & dyspnea; oligohydramnios occurs; pregnancy is confirmed. Closely observe for hypotension, oliguria & hyperkalemia. Angioedema; hyperkalemia patient. Patients w/ intravascular vol depletion; under stringent salt-restriction; bilateral or unilateral renal artery stenosis. Perform serial ultrasound exam to assess intra-amniotic environment; exchange transfusion or dialysis to reverse hypotension &/or substituting for disordered renal function. Concomitant use w/ K-sparing diuretics (eg, spironolactone, triamterene, amiloride), K supplements, K-containing salt substitutes or other agents. Not to operate machines during treatment eg, driving or activities in high altitude. Mild to severe renal impairment (CrCl <20 mL/min) or dialysis patients. Not recommended in patients w/ impaired liver function. Not to be given in pregnant women & during lactation. Not recommended in ped patient <18 yr. Not recommended for initial treatment in elderly ≥75 yr.
